My name is Paul Bond. I have been working as a data management consultant out of the Red Deer area for the last 15 years. My search for a Linux User Group (LUG) in Alberta led to string of dead links and 404 Errors. Even the linux.org LUG link has disappeared. This is not right. IT can be lonely work, and in a world dominated by Zoom calls and Discord channels I think that the in-person, press-the-flesh experience of a monthly get together would be of enormous value.

If you can spare a few hours and would like to be involved, there is much work to be done.
